Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt was disappointed to see his charges suffer a goalless draw against Horoya AC in their CAF Champions League opener.

It was honours even at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night as Amakhosi were left frustrated by the Guinean outfit.

Amakhosi enjoyed the lion's share of possession throughout the encounter but were unable to make their chances count.

It was the Glamour Boys' second draw on the trot after SuperSport United held Hunt's charges last weekend in a league encounter.

Speaking to the media after Tuesday's match, Hunt reveals that he has urged his players to work harder in order to win matches.

"Just disappointed with the result. I think we did enough to win the game and it didn't happen. That's football if you understand football, it's just one of those things," said Hunt.

"A good positive result to take forward but obviously disappointed not to win the game as we should've won the game."

"As I've said, when you are not winning you've got to work a little it harder sometimes, which I've tried to explain to the players. It's easier said than done but it is a mentality thing that.

"I thought our mentality was good tonight, our mentality was good on Saturday (against SuperSport United). They gave me two good games. So that's a good thing. Even last week, we were okay at times.

"We getting as much as we can out of the group that we got but we need to get more. They worked hard and that is important to me."

Amakhosi are up against Wydad Casablanca on Sunday at 18:00.
